Abstract
Decent work contributes to sustainable development goals by providing a more efficient workforce and supporting fundamental values such as equality, justice, and human rights. Therefore, research on decent work, which aims to improve workers' quality of life and protect human dignity, continues to grow internationally. Conducting a bibliometric analysis of current research will systematically contribute to the literature by revealing academic themes and research gaps. Additionally, from the perspective of management sciences, it will support the development of policies necessary for creating more sustainable and fair work environments in businesses. Based on the Web of Science database, 436 articles published in English in management were analyzed. A common keyword analysis revealed five themes based on a minimum of five co-occurrences. These themes are: workforce dynamics and labor standards, post-pandemic business and economic transformation, corporate social responsibility and working conditions, human rights and regulations in working life, and job quality and sustainable work models. These themes illustrate how changes in the labor market, economic growth, and quality of life affect one another. Recent studies have focused on COVID-19, entrepreneurship, economic growth, stakeholders, and job satisfaction. The pandemic has caused a significant transformation in the labor market, increasing the need for new business models. New job opportunities and flexible employment options support economic growth and contribute to creating an innovative and sustainable structure in the business world. Organizations develop more diverse and inclusive workforce policies to create an innovative and sustainable structure.
