Abstract
Rapid technological developments in the information age require businesses to adapt to the process in a competitive global environment. This compulsory change process has also changed the understanding of leadership. Leaders come to the forefront as business managers who can keep up with this transformation in order to take part in this process. While the understanding of leadership is changing, employees are also affected by this transformation. Transformational leaders, as people who also realize the transformation of employees, actually improve their managerial competencies. In this study, it is tried to reveal how transformational leaders can increase productivity if and how they transform the managerial competencies of employees and what this transformation can add to employees. At the same time, it is also investigated which strategies transformational leaders adopt can develop employees’ managerial skills more efficiently and how this transformation can contribute to organizations. Finally, the potential productivity increases and positive effects on organizational success that may arise from the inclusion of employees in the transformation process are also analyzed. In this context, it has been observed that employees who participate in the transformation process develop innovative thinking skills, adapt to change faster and contribute directly to the overall performance of the organization. In addition, it is emphasized that actively integrating employees into the process has positive results not only at the individual level but also in terms of teamwork and corporate culture.
